I'm not sure where the stuff pertinent to the fix starts and stops, but after that, I signed into my new Microsoft account on Edge, and then the Calendar widget sort of just started working. You might also be able to restart your computer to fix it to get everything to update but I didn't so yk. Once you have signed into your New Microsoft account you need to make sure that the Widgets menu knows that too (It seems kind of silly because it's the same computer, right? Lol), Just click on your profile picture on the top right corner of the Widgets pullout and hit sign out and then sign back in if it hasn't updated by that point.

Under Account settings, you're going to need to sign into/create a different Microsoft account and thereby a different Microsoft Outlook account.Press the Windows Key > CLick on your Profile (Bottom left Corner) > Change Account settings The fix for this is quite simple though it does require you to use a different outlook account and thus a different email, calendar, to-do list, etc., etc. When you connect an email account to your Windows computer that isn't a I think Windows has a fit. I believe it is just Microsoft being, you know, Microsoft so they want you to use Edge, an Outlook email account, A registered Microsoft device, (and so on and so forth). Had this same problem and I just found out how to fix it.
